Concert proceeds go to Breast Cancer Foundation
YREKA - Yreka’s Greenhorn Grange is hosting a benefit concert for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Kanybl Kaow is playing on Saturday, May 24, to raise money for the foundation. The concert begins at 6 p.m. and ends when it’s over. No drugs or alcohol will be allowed at the concert.
Kanybl Kaow is an all-girl band from Montague. The band consists of four women:Rain, vocals; Whitefeather, bass; Silvermoon, drummer and Snow, lead guitar.
At the concert, the band will give away a custom Fender jazz base guitar. The winner must be present to win.
Donations will be taken at the door. All donations will be sent to help the fight against breast cancer.
Kanybl Kaow has already held concerts in support of the foundation. In March, they donated $400 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
The grange is located at 300 Ranch Lane in Yreka.
